MADD! - Born Extreme Scooter Competition - The Highlights
XSVpro and Rare Breed Sports travelled to Leicester to visit The Board Room Skate Park where Born Extreme were putting on a scooter competition sponsored by MADD Gear. The comp was a PRO comp but also to discover new talent. On offer were some good prizes, including £200 for the winner and sponsorship for an unsigned rider. Here is the highlights from the day!
The Board Room Skate Park was a great venue for this event which proved very popular amongst the many scooter riders that attended. Set in a derelict industrial estate, the park had tonnes of character and a real urban feel. The park was a good size too, with the bystanders and riders watching the comp and all feeling very much involved.
We managed to catch up with Andy Stretton of Born Extreme, who organised the competition. Andy is passionate about action sports and is a wakeskater and keen snowboarder himself. It was clear that Andy loved putting on this event and believes in getting people involved in scootering!!

Yeah we learned some new tricks. A lot of new tricks. Theres a couple of tricks left out due to weather but most of the good tricks are in there. Craig literally learn bartwists in seconds.
